ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi is set to welcome global health leaders, policymakers, researchers, and investors to Abu Dhabi Global Health Week (ADGHW) 2025, taking place from 15–17 April.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the event will bring together over 200 speakers and 15,000 attendees to drive discussions on the future of healthcare.
ADGHW 2025 will focus on longevity, precision health, and transformative technologies, with a strong emphasis on preventive, personalized, and proactive healthcare. The event will feature high-profile speakers, including Anil Soni (WHO Foundation), Dr. Jean Kaseya (Africa CDC), Dr. Nir Barzilai (Albert Einstein College of Medicine), Michel Demaré (AstraZeneca), Sir Jonathan Symonds (GSK), Jacob Thaysen (Illumina), and Dr. Tomislav Mihaljevic (Cleveland Clinic). Health ministers from Bahrain, Egypt, Nepal, and the Hellenic Republic will also participate.
H.E. Dr. Noura Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DoH), emphasized Abu Dhabi’s role in global health innovation, stating: "With its advanced infrastructure, diverse population, and strong investments in life sciences, Abu Dhabi is uniquely positioned to pioneer precision health and build a healthier, more resilient future."
ADGHW 2025 will include: Forum@ADGHW – A global stage for leaders to address critical healthcare challenges, StartUp Zone – A hub for healthcare entrepreneurs to pitch ideas to investors and Smart Health Hackathon & Innovation Awards – Recognizing pioneering healthcare solutions.
Organized by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, the event aligns with Abu Dhabi’s commitment to sustainable, data-driven healthcare transformation. Discussions will center on Longevity & Precision Health, Health System Resilience, Digital Health & AI, and Investment in Life Sciences.
